2/27/2024 0 Comments Phoneview![]() ![]() ![]() My journey to acceptance peaked just in time for the inaugural “Let’s Rock NSW” event in June this year. Self-acceptance has been crucial in this journey, but just as importantly has been the support of my family, friends and my workplace. My ADHD symptoms, including forgetfulness, Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD), impulsivity, and low self-esteem finally made sense, and by recognising and talking about them, my leader and I were able to develop strategies and new ways of working. Sharing my diagnosis journey with my manager was the best decision I ever made. This new self-awareness enabled me to stop forcing myself into roles I believed I should enjoy or excel in, allowing me to embrace my uniqueness. I realised my brain craved variety, novelty, creativity-anything to provide a dopamine boost. Ironically, discovering I had Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) helped me recognise this recurring pattern. Meanwhile, my friends and colleagues would passionately pursue their goals and I would cheer them on, while the usual challenges like boredom, depression, and self-sabotage would plague me, inevitably leading to the cycle starting over again. It seemed that I could be exceptionally skilled at something, but only temporarily and intensely before burning out. #WorldCongress2023 #OSHInnovation #SafetyLeadership #PsychosocialRisks #WorkplaceWellbeing #GlobalOSHNetwork #ProfessionalDevelopment #HarmPrevention #FutureOfWorkSafetyįinal Countdown: The Complete Final Programme UnveiledĢ3rd World Congress on Safety & Health at Work on LinkedInīy the age of 23, I had convinced myself that I couldn’t excel at anything. Developer - just discontinue this app if you're not going to keep it up-to-date, instead of frustrating your users!! THIS APP IS A WASTE OF MONEY.We're excited to unveil the second episode of our 'Talking Safety' video series at the World Congress, featuring none other than Manal Azzi, the Team Lead on Occupational Safety and Health at the International Labour Organization (ILO) and Kevin Jones. Terrible lack of care & attention from the developer of this app. he doesn't seem to care about improving this app anymore. The developer of this app has clearly checked out altogether. This app even shows many of your Message comments in the WRONG ORDER ALTOGETHER within the Messages thread, because this app doesn't seem to evaluate the "full timestamp" of when each message was sent - it just looks at the hour and time. It actually TYPES THE WORDS of what you did, instead of showing the symbol! Another example: this app doesn't show the URL previews in the Messages archives, even though that is now supported in iOS 9, iOS 10, and iOS 11. Trying to use this app to archive your Messages onto your computer is a ridiculous exercise in frustration, because this app hasn't improved a bit since all the way back in iOS 8!! It doesn't support any of the newer IOS 9 or iOS 10 or iOS 11 features, such as "tapping back" on a message with a thumbs up, a thumbs down, or a heart symbol. The developer of this app has clearly stopped caring about this app.
